About This Wine:

This is the latest version of our now famous red feasting wine, and at $35 it is the best deal in the valley. The blend on the 2008 Maximus is 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 22% Merlot, 14% Syrah, and 4% Cabernet Franc. The wine opens with bright aromas of dark cherry, blueberry and cassis. On the palate, the wine displays flavors of rich blackberry, bing cherry and mocha. With elegant, velvety tannins, the wine has a long fruit driven finish and enough tannin structure to age elegantly.
